Children & Family Shoots
What happens if the weather’s inclement?
We will contact you the day before the shoot to confirm the shoot is still on. Should the weather be looking iffy, we will have a brief conversation about options. For example, we are more than happy to proceed if there’s a little rain forecast, as this can make for wonderful images. However, if strong winds are predicted we may recommend a change in location, for safety or simply rebook if you would prefer.
How long does an outdoor photoshoot take?
1-2 hours however, it’ll feel like half this time and following the shoot you’re already in a beautiful location, ready to enjoy the rest of the day. Why not bring a picnic.
Where does an outdoor photo session take place?
We are not restricted, unlike a studio session. The location of choice may be your favourite park, woodland or beach. It could be a new location to explore or somewhere that holds treasured memories. We can even come to your home and use your garden, if you wish.
Why opt for an outdoor photo session, as opposed to a studio session?
Simply, it’s more fun! It is a relaxed photoshoot, that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot. This will result in natural and beautiful photographs, that we are confident you’ll treasure.
What happens if my children aren’t playing ball?
Having three children, Charlie 23, Dayle 10 and Meadow 5, I have plenty of experience. By using tried and tested techniques, I’m confident they will soon relax and start to have lots fun. The children will be our main focus, you know the saying… happy child… happy parent.
Who takes the photographs?
Me Matt. Depending on the size of the photoshoot, I may bring along my Son, Charlie, who also happens to be a qualified photographer (award winning as well!).
